Given the fact that literally thousands of client related decisions are made by the system on a daily basis, we do not even attempt
to supervise the process in any detail. Instead we focus on cases that have principal characteristics and/or seem to include controversiel
aspects in violation with other laws. Please note: social- and labour market laws do not overrule other legislation, in fact they come
second even if case managers like to think otherwise.
We're committed to following the select cases through all levels of the complaint system
and may eventually take the issues to court if necessary. The outcome is then used as a reference when similar
cases arise, thus contributing to establishing general practices throughout the system.
It's a rough ride fighting the system from within, made even more difficult by a cronic lack of finances, but
we get our fair share of victories - and every one of those is an improvement or defence of civic rights.
Danish Workfare Watch is loathed by the system and it would never consider supporting us in any way - too
dangerous in fact. Good. We don't need experts, trojan horses or other overvalued technocrats to tell us
what to think and what to do. Trying to please everyone would not be productive, being afraid funds might dry up. By remaining
independent of public cash flows and infiltration we have established a solid platform from which we kan launch
initiatives that make a real difference.
